Set in a working-class corner of Atlanta, ATL (2006) is a coming-of-age drama you can watch online on iFILM. It marks the directing debut of music-video veteran Chris Robinson and the screen debut of rapper T.I.

Four friends are riding out their last year of high school, meeting up every weekend at the Cascade skating rink — the one place where nobody asks where you're from. Rashad wants out of the neighborhood, his kid brother drifts toward fast money, and a sudden romance with a girl from the wealthy side of town scrambles everyone's plans. The rink holds them together just long enough for each to figure out what they actually want.

The story borrows from producer Dallas Austin and TLC's Tionne Watkins, who once rolled with the same crew, the Jellybeans. Lauren London, Evan Ross and OutKast's Big Boi round out the cast, and the soundtrack runs thick with mid-2000s Southern hip-hop. It's a low-key, honest look at the choices you make at eighteen.
