Dinner in America

Simon is a fugitive punk rocker crashing through the suburban Midwest, burning bridges and staying one step ahead of the police. Patty is quiet, awkward, obsessed with a local band she's never met. When circumstance lands Simon in her house, she has no idea he is the masked frontman she idolizes. Both of them are square pegs — he too loud for anyone, she too strange for anyone — and their unlikely pairing drives the film somewhere genuinely unexpected. The soundtrack was written specifically for the movie, and it lands.
