Synopsis

The first wave lands. Then the plan comes apart. Rick's worst blow of the season isn't a military loss. It's personal, mid-season, and it reframes what he's actually fighting for. Meanwhile Simon's ambitions start pulling the Saviors apart from inside, and Daryl and Maggie push for a harder end to the war than Rick is willing to authorise.
The finale delivers the all-out confrontation both sides have been building toward since Season 7. The outcome is not what Negan expected.
