Synopsis
The English (2022), Season 1 is a six-episode revenge western you can watch online on iFILM, set out on the American plains in 1890.
Lady Cornelia Locke arrives from England with a single purpose: to kill the man she blames for her son's death. She falls in with Eli Whipp, a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout heading north to claim land that was promised and then stolen. What reads like coincidence isn't — the further they ride, the clearer it grows that their histories already touched years earlier, around a cattleman named Trafford and his ruthless aide Melmont. A sheriff keeps picking at a murder that won't add up, and every thread pulls toward the same reckoning.
