Synopsis

It is 1890. Cornelia arrives in the American West carrying money, grief, and a very specific target — the man she holds responsible for her son's death. Eli is heading the same direction for his own reasons. They join forces crossing the Kansas plains, and slowly realize their pasts are tangled together far earlier than this meeting. The landscape is brutal, the violence deliberate, and the old injuries driving the story run deeper than revenge.
Blunt plays Cornelia as someone who has decided to stop being managed by the world. Blick frames the frontier not as myth but as a place where power was raw and undecorated, which gives the show an edge that most period westerns sand off.
