The Guilty

The Guilty (Den skyldige, 2018) is a Danish thriller from director Gustav Möller that you can watch online on iFILM. Jakob Cedergren plays Asger Holm, a police officer reassigned to an emergency dispatch center while awaiting his own court hearing — a man already carrying something heavy before the night even begins.

Then one call changes everything. A woman on the line is speaking in fragments, clearly not alone, clearly frightened. Asger figures out she's being taken somewhere against her will. He has a phone and no way to leave the building. Every word she says, every sound bleeding through the receiver becomes a clue. The picture of what happened keeps shifting, and the question of who is actually guilty gets harder to answer the longer he listens.
