RoboCop 2

RoboCop 2 (1990) is a sci-fi action sequel you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Irvin Kershner, it drops cyborg cop Alex Murphy back into a Detroit drowning in a designer drug called Nuke.

Peter Weller returns as the part-man, part-machine officer, with Nancy Allen back as his partner Anne Lewis. The drug ring answers to Cane, a cult-like dealer who believes he is divine. When OCP captures him, the corporation does not destroy his brain — it bolts it into a hulking new combat chassis. Murphy now faces a bigger, meaner version of himself, one programmed with no conscience at all.

Kershner, who made The Empire Strikes Back, leans hard into satire here, mocking corporate greed and fake-cheery TV ads between bursts of gunfire. Comic legend Frank Miller co-wrote the script, which explains the cartoonish brutality and the famous scene where RoboCop, crammed with hundreds of new directives, glitches out mid-shift.
