Synopsis

Treadstone (2019) Season 1 is a spy-action series set in the Jason Bourne universe, ten episodes you can watch online on iFILM. The story starts fresh: a CIA program quietly switches its sleeper agents back on, one country at a time.

The season runs on two clocks. Back in 1973, an operative breaks out of a Soviet mind-conditioning project called Cicada and has to retrace his own buried past from Berlin to Budapest. In the present day an ordinary oil-rig worker, Doug, wakes up with kill orders he never agreed to, journalist Tara pulls at the thread of a North Korean assassination, and field agent Soyun is squeezed between the CIA and her handlers. Across all ten chapters these strangers drift toward one nuclear flashpoint.

USA Network built the show from Robert Ludlum's novels, and the Cold War half is what gives it weight — less a superhuman-assassin shootout than a slow-burn puzzle. Stream Treadstone Season 1 online on iFILM.
