A small Texas town. Sheriff Dan Stevens (Norris) handles trouble the usual way, until a mentally unstable man kills three people and takes a fatal gunshot from police. The scientists at a nearby psychiatric clinic inject him with an experimental regeneration serum. He wakes up superhuman. No wound sticks. No beating matters. Ron Silver plays one of the researchers who caused a problem they now cannot solve. The genre collision is the whole point: a studio martial arts picture that borrowed its villain wholesale from Halloween.
