Synopsis
Senior Year (2022) is a comedy starring Rebel Wilson that you can watch online on iFILM. Back in 2002, cheer captain Stephanie wipes out mid-routine and slips into a coma. She wakes up twenty years later in a world she doesn't recognize, still seventeen in her head and dead set on one thing.
Now thirty-seven, Stephanie heads back to high school to finish what a botched stunt interrupted: the prom queen crown. The school, of course, has moved on without her. Popularity contests are out, phones are everywhere, and a single post can sink you faster than any rival ever could. Sam Richardson plays the old friend who became the school librarian, Zoë Chao the former rival who's now the principal, and a Alicia Silverstone cameo winks straight at anyone who grew up on '90s teen movies.
The film leans all the way into early-2000s nostalgia, from glitter cheer numbers to a soundtrack built for singing along. The jokes are broad and sometimes corny, but Wilson carries the whole thing on charm and a willingness to look ridiculous. Easy, switch-your-brain-off fun for a lazy night.
