I Am Frankelda

I Am Frankelda (Soy Frankelda, 2025) is a Mexican animated horror-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Arturo and Roy Ambriz built the film around a 19th-century writer whose dark stories nobody wants to read — until her imagination turns against her.

Frankelda slips into the kingdom she invented, full of the very creatures she put on paper. They are awake and they are angry. Prince Herneval (voiced by Arturo Mercado Jr.) is supposed to guide her through, but he is trapped in his own nightmares and barely holds it together. The two must stop the realm of fiction and the real world from colliding — before there is nothing left of either. Voice cast includes Mireya Mendoza and Luis Leonardo Suarez.
