Synopsis
The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995) is an indie teen romance you can watch online on iFILM. Maria Maggenti's debut follows a first crush between two high-school girls who come from completely different sides of town.
Randy (Laurel Holloman) is the scruffy tomboy who pumps gas and fixes cars at her aunt's station and never quite fits in at school. Evie (Nicole Ari Parker) is the polished honor student from a wealthy family with everything mapped out. They meet almost by accident, the spark is instant, and what follows is small and recognizable: passed notes, secret dates, jealous friends, and the dread of what parents and classmates might say.
There's no big tragedy engineered to test them — Maggenti keeps it warm, funny and low-key, trusting that two kids falling for each other is enough of a story.
