Synopsis
To Love Ru (2008), Season 3 — the Darkness arc — is the harem comedy anime to watch online on iFILM, 12 episodes that open with Lala's younger sisters moving into Rito's house and ending any hope of a quiet life.
The tone shifts here. Little princess Momo gets serious about her "Harem Plan": rather than push the other girls out, she wants every one of them to stay at Rito's side. Running alongside it, the assassin Yami's story steps out of the shadows — her "sister" Mea appears, the shadowy Organization behind her stirs, and Yami finally tells Rito about her past. The former killer keeps growing attached to the Yuuki household, and the old contract on Rito's head turns into something far more personal. Rito, for his part, at last stops dodging what he feels for Lala.
Adapted from Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki's manga, this run is Xebec's take on the Darkness line. It is bolder than the earlier seasons: heavier fan service and a more serious thread of drama around Yami. A good fit for anyone who wanted a through-line the first two seasons skipped.
