Season 2
Synopsis
Hap and Leonard Season 2 (2017) is back on iFILM to watch online — six more episodes of Joe R. Lansdale swamp noir. Forget Trudy and the river money; this run is smaller and grimmer. The duo are clearing out the wreck of a house left behind by Leonard's late Uncle Chester.
Under the rotting floorboards they find a child's skeleton. Hap wants to call the cops. Leonard, a Black man in late-1980s East Texas, knows exactly how that ends for them, and talks him out of it. So they dig into it themselves: who BB was, and why Chester's good name now hangs by a thread. Standing in the way are a house full of felons, a cold-blooded killer, and now and then their own short tempers. Six episodes circle the case back to a long-overdue reckoning.
James Purefoy and Michael Kenneth Williams lean on that same partnership, but the second season cuts harder than the first — less caper, more about small-town racism and the cost of staying quiet. Stream Hap and Leonard Season 2 online on iFILM.
