Synopsis
Soul Man (1986) is an American comedy from director Steve Miner, free to watch online on iFILM. Mark lands a spot at Harvard Law, then hits a wall: his wealthy father refuses to foot the bill, and the one scholarship left on the table is reserved for a Black student.
His fix is a reckless one. A course of tanning pills, a borrowed identity, and suddenly Mark qualifies for the money — until he falls for Sarah, the classmate who actually deserved that scholarship, and his parents turn up unannounced. C. Thomas Howell carries the lead, with Rae Dawn Chong, Arye Gross and James Earl Jones rounding out the cast.
