Synopsis
Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black (劇場版 BLEACH Fade to Black, 2008) is the third theatrical film in the Bleach franchise — watch it online on iFILM. Directed by Noriyuki Abe and running 94 minutes, it tells a self-contained story that assumes you know the main cast and the layout of the Soul Society.
A massive reishi explosion tears through Seireitei, and Rukia Kuchiki vanishes — not just physically but from everyone's memory. Every Soul Reaper forgets she ever existed. Ichigo Kurosaki (voiced by Masakazu Morita) is one of the rare few who still remembers her, and he pushes into the Soul Society to find her — only to be treated as the man responsible for the damage. Behind it all are two mysterious figures who surfaced from the 78th District of Rukongai, and their connection to Rukia goes back further than anyone realised. Aya Hirano and Hiroshi Kamiya join the regular voice cast for the film's original characters.
