Synopsis
Countdown (2025) is a crime detective series you can watch online on iFILM. A Department of Homeland Security officer is gunned down in broad daylight in Los Angeles, and the case lands not with one lone cop but with a secretly assembled task force.
LAPD detective Mark Meachum, played by Jensen Ackles, is folded into a crew of undercover agents drawn from every branch — the FBI, customs, local police. At first it plays like a straight manhunt. Then the truth surfaces: the shooting is the opening move of a plot that could wipe a city of millions off the map. The clock keeps running, and every missed lead burns time nobody has. Alongside Ackles are Jessica Camacho, Eric Dane, Violett Beane and Milo Ventimiglia.
The show comes from Derek Haas, a creator behind the One Chicago franchise, and his fingerprints are all over it: a case each week, tight team chemistry, and one season-long threat underneath.
