Love, Death & Robots is a Netflix animated anthology you can watch online on iFILM, launched in 2019 by Tim Miller and David Fincher through Blur Studio. Four seasons in, 45 episodes total, and the series is still in production.

Every episode is its own story with its own animation style. One short is photorealistic enough to blur the line with live action. The next is jagged 2D. Then comes a deadpan black comedy about sentient dairy cows. The common thread: NSFW subject matter — war, lust, machine intelligence, the various ways humanity ends — handled without the usual softening.

Most episodes run between six and twenty minutes, so each one has one shot to land its punch. Miller and Fincher function as curators rather than co-directors, which is why the anthology pulls in animation houses from across the globe and sounds nothing like any single studio's house style.
