In the Flesh (2013) is a BBC Three drama series you can watch online on iFILM, created by Dominic Mitchell. Four years after the dead rose and nearly wiped out Britain, a cure has been found — and the government is sending rehabilitated sufferers back home.

Teenager Kieren Walker (Luke Newberry) is one of them. He returns to a small Lancashire village where locals formed an armed Human Volunteer Force to fight the undead, and where most people are not ready to welcome a "Partially Deceased Syndrome" sufferer back to the dinner table. His family is holding together on denial; his town is barely holding together at all. The series uses the zombie premise as a way into something else: grief, stigma, and the specific cruelty of a community that can't forget.
