Resurrection

Resurrection (2022) is a psychological horror drama you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Andrew Semans. Rebecca Hall plays Margaret, a single mother who has spent twenty years building a controlled, orderly life — then a face from her past appears on a city street and she realizes the control was always borrowed.

That face belongs to David, played by Tim Roth with a kind of quiet, smiling malevolence that makes every scene with him difficult to sit through. Margaret knows exactly what he's capable of. Getting anyone else to believe her is a different problem. The film keeps its cards close: it functions as a precise, grounded drama about coercive control right up until the point where it doesn't, and the audience has to decide how much of what they're watching is literal.
