Synopsis
Hit & Miss (2012) is a six-episode British drama starring Chloë Sevigny — watch it online on iFILM. Mia is a contract killer. A transgender woman. Someone who has organized her life around not being attached to anything. A letter from a dying ex-girlfriend ends that arrangement: Mia discovers she has a son, and the dying woman wants her to take in the whole family.
Directed in its early episodes by Hettie Macdonald, the series drops Mia into the rural English countryside — surroundings that couldn't be further from her usual work. Sevigny spent months preparing for the role, and the performance carries it: Mia is completely credible as someone capable of violence and completely lost in the domestic chaos that now surrounds her.
