Tougen Anki (Season 1)

Tougen Anki (2025) is a Japanese anime series to watch online on iFILM, adapted from Haruto Shimotsuki's manga serialized in Shonen Jump+.

Shiki Ichinose is a regular high schooler until the truth about his blood catches up with him: he carries Oni lineage, the hereditary mark of the demons from Japanese folklore. In this modern retelling, descendants of the folk hero Momotaro have formed an enforcement agency that hunts Oni-blooded people and calls it justice. After clashing with their hunters, Shiki learns exactly how his adoptive father died — and stops holding back what has been building inside him.

He enrolls in an academy for Oni descendants, where the curriculum runs from power training to survival. The series opens as a school action show and tightens into something more morally complicated: the closer Shiki gets to the Momotaro mythology, the harder it becomes to tell hero from monster.
