High school student Subaru Natsuki steps out of a convenience store and ends up in a fantasy kingdom with no warning, no magic, and no idea how he got there. He figures out he has exactly one ability when he gets killed for the first time.

He snaps back to a point in the recent past. Subaru calls the power "Return by Death" — and he keeps it to himself, because telling anyone what he can do is apparently fatal. Each loop he remembers everything: the half-elf candidate for the throne named Emilia, the twin maids Rem and Ram serving the eccentric sorcerer Roswaal, and the exact sequence of events that led to his last death. The goal is to change the ending. It rarely goes cleanly.

The series has aired on TV Tokyo since April 2016, produced by White Fox under KADOKAWA, with 85 episodes out and still in production. Yusuke Kobayashi voices Subaru, Rie Takahashi voices Emilia, and Inori Minase voices Rem. Stream all seasons of Re:ZERO online on iFILM.
