Synopsis

Cage Dive (2017) is an Australian found-footage horror film directed by Gerald Rascionato — stream it online on iFILM. Three California friends fly to South Australia to shoot an audition tape for an extreme reality show. Their centrepiece stunt: shark cage diving with Great Whites off the coast.

Then it all goes wrong. The cage, the open ocean, chum in the water, and no rescue vessel anywhere near them. What was meant to be gripping content for a TV casting call becomes a raw record of who survives and who doesn't. The camera rolls until the battery dies. At 76 minutes, it doesn't overstay its welcome — director Rascionato keeps the tension practical and the CGI minimal, which is exactly the right call for a film this stripped-back.
