Synopsis
Workin' Moms (2017) is a Canadian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Four friends in Toronto try to balance maternity leave, careers, and whatever's left of their personal lives — and they're refreshingly honest that motherhood often feels like survival.
At the center is Kate, an ambitious PR exec who returns from leave to find her job nearly gone. Around her: Anne, a blunt therapist facing a complicated pregnancy; Frankie, a perfectionist wrestling with postpartum depression; and Jenny, who can't quite figure out what she wants from her marriage. Their mommy support group becomes the one place they can say out loud what other shows tiptoe around.
Creator Catherine Reitman both writes the show and plays Kate, and she keeps the picture of parenthood gloss-free — awkward sex, panic attacks, jokes that run right up to the line.
