Along the way he meets Emily (Abigail Breslin), a girl facing a terminal illness who has a clearer sense of what matters than Jason has ever had. Brian Dennehy and Bill Cobbs round out the cast. The film adapts Jim Stovall's 2001 novel of the same name.
