Synopsis
Elsbeth (2024) is a CBS crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Quirky attorney Elsbeth Tascioni leaves a big Chicago career behind and turns up in New York, shadowing the NYPD.
Her whole act is misdirection. She chatters, gets distracted, gushes about the city like a tourist — and all the while she's clocking the one detail everyone else missed. Each episode runs backwards: you watch the killer commit the crime up front, then watch Elsbeth slowly tighten the net around someone far too pleased with themselves. Carrie Preston reprises the role she created on The Good Wife, with Wendell Pierce as a precinct captain and Carra Patterson at her side.
