Synopsis
October Faction (2020) is an American fantasy drama series on Netflix you can watch online on iFILM. The Allen family drives back to their hometown for a grandfather's funeral. Seventeen-year-old twins Geoff and Viv assume their parents Fred and Deloris sell insurance. That assumption doesn't survive the trip.
Fred and Deloris are monster hunters — have been for years — working for a shadowy organisation that keeps the supernatural in check. The grandfather's death pulls the lid off decades of secrets, and the twins quickly discover the family business is stranger and more dangerous than anything they could have imagined. Meanwhile the hometown itself is restless in ways that feel personal. The series draws from the comic book run by Steve Niles and Damien Worm, which started in 2014, and keeps the source material's mix of small-town dread and domestic tension intact.
