Synopsis
Beyond Paradise (2023) is a British crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Humphrey Goodman trades the sunny Caribbean island of Saint Marie for the sleepy hometown of his fiancée, Martha, hoping for a quieter life.
That hope doesn't survive contact with the place. The little English town turns out to have a surprisingly busy crime rate, and Humphrey is soon untangling cases again — only now under grey skies instead of palm trees. The move tests both of them, too: a new home, new neighbours, and a relationship to settle between call-outs to crime scenes. Kris Marshall plays Humphrey, with Sally Bretton as Martha.
A spin-off of the popular Death in Paradise, it carves out its own tone — swapping tropical colour for snug provincial life, eccentric locals and puzzle-box mysteries in the classic English mould, where the solution matters more than any chase.
