The Glades (Seasons 1–4)

The Glades (2010) is a sun-baked crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Chicago detective Jim Longworth takes a bullet and a false accusation — his captain is sure he slept with his wife — and relocates to a sleepy Florida town where supposedly nothing ever happens.

Nothing, it turns out, is a stretch. Bodies keep surfacing behind the golf courses and palm trees, and Jim — now a state police detective — clears them one by one with his shades on and his mouth running. The smart-aleck routine annoys his colleagues as much as it rattles suspects. Alongside the cases, he chases a slow-burn romance with nurse Callie (Kiele Sanchez), who carries baggage of her own. Carlos Gomez plays the boss he steadily exasperates.

It's a breezy procedural with a Florida tan and the tagline "Sunny with a chance of homicide." Four seasons, a case an episode, a charming wiseguy at the center — easy to sink into for a night.
