Synopsis
My ID is Gangnam Beauty Season 1 — sixteen episodes, watch online on iFILM. The 2018 Korean series follows Kang Mi-rae into her first year of university, where she arrives with a new face after spending most of her life being bullied for the old one.
The campus slaps a label on her immediately: "Gangnam Beauty," the dismissive term for girls who had plastic surgery. Mi-rae came to college for a clean break and finds the same judgment in a different outfit. Do Kyeong-seok — guarded, honest to a fault, and the last person she expected to see — knows exactly who she was before the operation. That history makes him both the most unsettling presence in her life and, slowly, the only one who actually stands up for her. A second guy enters the picture and complicates things further, while Mi-rae also has to reckon with Su-a: campus-perfect on the surface, hiding something considerably less so underneath. The drama plays the sixteen episodes straight — no sudden confidence breakthroughs, just incremental, messy progress.
