Waxwork II: Lost in Time

Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992) is Anthony Hickox's horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The wax museum burned down at the end of the first film, but a severed hand crawled out of the ashes and murdered Sarah's stepfather.

Now she's on trial for the killing, and the only proof of her innocence lies somewhere outside of time. Mark and Sarah leap through a portal and tumble across eras — a medieval castle, a haunted manor, a black-and-white nightmare, a far-future spaceship — brawling with Frankenstein's monster, vampires and the walking dead along the way. Zach Galligan returns in the lead, joined by Bruce Campbell, David Carradine, Patrick Macnee and Marina Sirtis.

Hickox plays the whole thing as a gleeful anthology of genre spoofs, riffing on everything from Evil Dead to Alien. There's far more latex, fake blood and nonsense than plot, and that's exactly the point. It's a treat for anyone who grew up on late-eighties splatter and likes their horror with a wink.
