Synopsis
Buddy Daddies (2023), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM. This twelve-episode Japanese anime drops two professional hitmen into the one job nobody trained them for: raising a kid. After a Christmas contract goes sideways, easygoing Kazuki and stone-faced Rei end up looking after four-year-old Miri.
What follows is parenthood, the messy kind. Getting her into daycare turns out harder than any hit. Money runs short, so the contracts keep coming. Kazuki tries to play attentive dad and nearly lands on Miri's bad side over a playground fight. Underneath the chores, both men's pasts surface — Rei's assassin father shows up with an ultimatum, and Kazuki carries a wound the changing seasons keep reopening. All of it unfolds while the organization watches, and it doesn't let people walk away.
