Synopsis
Dread (2009) is a British psychological horror-thriller adapted from a Clive Barker short story — watch online on iFILM. College student Stephen Grace meets Quaid, a young man with a fixed obsession: fear is the only true reality, and inside every person is a private darkness waiting to be exposed. Together, they start a documentary project interviewing people about what terrifies them most.
Jackson Rathbone and Shaun Evans build a tension that starts intellectual and turns visceral fast. Quaid is no passive observer — he treats the research as raw material for something far more calculated and cruel. Director Anthony DiBlasi pulls the story away from supernatural dread and plants it squarely in human psychology, which makes it harder to dismiss after the credits roll.
