Synopsis

Corey is halfway out the door into adulthood when he runs into Jonah, a friend from primary school now bullied without mercy by Corey's own crew. Out of guilt, Corey offers to walk him home, and an ordinary stroll through empty streets turns into a trek through ghost stories, childhood fears and everything the two of them buried years ago.
Verso folds a teen coming-of-age story into quiet horror; there's far more melancholy and after-dark magic here than jump scares. Toby Wallace and Gulliver McGrath carry the film on the fragile chemistry of two boys who'd rather spook each other with tales than say anything honest.
