Season 1
America's most notorious killer in his own words.
Synopsis
Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes (2019), Season 1 watch online on iFILM — a four-part true-crime documentary built around America's most notorious serial killer. Its spine is the death-row audio Bundy dictated to journalists Stephen Michaud and Hugh Aynesworth.
The season walks his story in his own voice. Two reporters press the charming defendant for the full account; detectives chase a suspect in the Seattle-area murders while a woman in Utah barely gets away. From there come the brazen escapes, the Florida killings, a routine traffic stop that cracks the case open, and a double-murder trial that curdles into spectacle. Bundy narrates over archival footage, and it's the flat calm of his self-belief — not any reenactment — that unsettles.
Directed by Joe Berlinger, it dropped on Netflix on the thirtieth anniversary of his execution. This isn't a chase thriller; it's a cold study of how charm hides a predator. Stream Conversations with a Killer Season 1 online on iFILM.
