Date and Switch

Date and Switch (2014) is an American teen comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two best friends make a deal to lose their virginity before prom night. Then one of them comes out as gay, and the whole plan falls apart.

What the film is actually about is what happens to the friendship after that moment — the awkwardness, the readjustment, the question of how to show up for someone when you didn't see it coming. Director Chris Nelson keeps the tone light without dodging the emotional weight. The cast includes Nicholas Braun, Dakota Johnson, Nick Offerman and Gary Cole.
