Synopsis
Superjail! Season 2 is ready to watch online on iFILM — ten more episodes of the Adult Swim head-trip, this batch from 2011. It opens with Jailbot and Jacknife shot down over the Outer Worlds, leaving the Warden to run the whole prison, and wash himself, with no help at all.
This run is meaner and a little more connected than the first. A slick recurring villain, Lord Stingray, washes up on the island and worms his way into the Warden's good graces. Jared launches a black-market organ business that gets away from him, a naked alien predator slips inside hunting for something, and the ghosts of dead inmates come back with a grudge. Along the way there's a gay wedding the Warden hijacks, a shiny replacement for the aging Jailbot, and the annual Grand Prix where the prize is freedom — which, here, is never really free.
The animation is denser, the gore louder, the through-lines slightly stronger episode to episode. If the first season hooked you, this one hits harder. All ten episodes of Superjail! Season 2 stream on iFILM.
