Synopsis
Another six episodes land in Season 23 of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (2013), and you can watch them online on iFILM. Jimmy Carr is back to referee the collision of panel-show chatter and the letters-and-numbers rounds borrowed from Countdown.
Jon Richardson takes the captain's seat more often than not, facing a rotating bench of comics: Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Jo Brand, Sara Pascoe, Russell Kane and Judi Love. Rachel Riley works the numbers, Susie Dent guards the dictionary, and the chair beside her goes to a different guest each week. The winner hardly registers; the jokes between rounds do.
