Synopsis

Riko grew up at the rim. The Abyss is a chasm of unknown depth, and the deeper you go, the less likely you are to come back. Her mother Lyza was one of the most celebrated cave raiders in history — and she never returned. When Riko finds Reg, a robot with no memory of where he came from, the two decide to descend together. This film covers episodes one through eight: the descent begins, the rules become clear, and the encounter with the White Whistle Ozen reveals that what happened to Riko's mother is more complicated than a simple disappearance.
