Synopsis
Frailty (2002) is a psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM — and the directorial debut of Bill Paxton, who also stars as a Texas widower who wakes his sons one night to announce that an angel has given them a mission: destroy demons hiding in human form.
The older boy Fenton sees a father losing his mind. The younger, Adam, sees a calling. The story cuts between a terrifying childhood in rural Texas and the present day, where a stranger played by Matthew McConaughey sits across from FBI agent Wesley Doyle — Powers Boothe — and lays out a confession that keeps shifting ground. Every answer opens a new question about what the audience is willing to believe.
