Synopsis
Ghostwriter (2019), Season 1 — thirteen episodes to watch online on iFILM. A ghost haunts a neighborhood bookstore, and it has one recurring trick: pulling characters out of classic novels and into the real world.
When Ruben moves to a new town he falls in with three kids who figure this out fast. The ghost — they come to call it Ghostwriter — releases Alice from Wonderland, then Mowgli from The Jungle Book, then a sharp-shooting cowboy from a western, eventually Frankenstein's creature. Each release kicks off a two- or three-episode mini-mystery: what does the ghost need, how do the kids get the character safely back between covers, and what does the clue left behind actually mean? The answers build toward something bigger — who Ghostwriter was in life and what unfinished business still ties it to the store.
