Synopsis
The Rezort (2015) is a British zombie horror film directed by Steve Barker, available to watch online on iFILM. The outbreak is over, the dead have been contained, and someone built a luxury resort where guests pay to hunt zombies on open ground. A five-star vacation with automatic weapons included.
Dougray Scott and Jessica De Gouw arrive as tourists looking for a thrill. When the facility's security grid fails, the resort goes dark and the fences come down — suddenly the hunters are trapped with several thousand undead and no extraction plan. Martin McCann and Elen Rhys round out the group trying to stay alive long enough to find a way out.
Shot on location in Spain, the film is essentially a zombie spin on Westworld: the premise is sharper than the execution, but director Steve Barker keeps the pacing tight enough for the 87-minute runtime to move.
