Synopsis
Sacred Games (2018), Season 1 is Netflix's first Indian original — eight episodes you can watch online on iFILM.
It opens with a phone call. An anonymous voice gives weary, honest cop Sartaj Singh twenty-five days to stop a catastrophe heading for Mumbai, then names itself: Ganesh Gaitonde, a gang lord long presumed dead. The season runs on two tracks. In the present, Sartaj chases a cryptic prophecy through a crowded, hostile city. In flashback, Gaitonde narrates his own climb from nothing to crime-world deity — drugs, guns and, more dangerous than either, politics.
Adapted from Vikram Chandra's novel and directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the show ties faith, blood and corruption into a single knot.
