Sacred Games (Seasons 1–2)
The Righteous. The Ruthless. Everyone wants to play.
Synopsis
Sacred Games (2018) is a gritty Indian crime series you can watch online on iFILM — Netflix's first original production shot in India. Honest Mumbai cop Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) takes a call from notorious gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who warns him the city has 25 days before disaster.
The story runs on two tracks. In the present, Sartaj unpicks a cryptic warning that drags him through corruption, politics and religious tension. In the past, we watch Gaitonde rise from a penniless kid to a crime lord who calls himself a god. Directors Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane keep both timelines moving, with Pankaj Tripathi as an unsettling spiritual guru.
Adapted from Vikram Chandra's sprawling novel, the show runs two seasons and pulls no punches — profane, violent and a world away from Bollywood gloss. Its Mumbai is filthy, alive and dangerous. Liked Narcos but want a sharper, mythology-soaked edge? This is your next binge. Stream every season of Sacred Games online on iFILM.
