Synopsis

Two tribes open the game, Maraamu and Rotu. Injuries, a tug-of-war over who runs camp, and storms that soak everything wear the players down before the real strategy even starts. Then comes the part this season is still remembered for. After the merge, the dominant alliance — the one that, by every earlier rule, should have coasted to the finale — collapses, as the underdogs pull votes their way and flip the whole game on its head. What follows is rising paranoia, alliances that shift by the hour, and Tribal Councils where no outcome feels safe anymore. After 39 days, one castaway is left.
