Synopsis
Galactica 1980 (1980) Season 1 — watch online on iFILM, all 10 episodes of the sequel to Battlestar Galactica. After thirty years adrift, the fugitive fleet reaches Earth at last, only to learn our technology can't survive the Cylons who followed them home.
That premise drives the whole run. Adama quietly drops pilots Troy and Dillon onto the planet, where they and reporter Jamie Hamilton nudge human science ahead and shield people from harm. The traitor Xavier keeps slipping into the past — handing the Nazis their V-2 rockets, then reaching further back — to rewrite history before a colony can take root. Kids from a wrecked school barge hide out on Earth, a new humanoid Cylon crashes near New York, and the finale hands the spotlight to "The Return of Starbuck," widely held as the best thing the series ever did.
