Kim Noakes grew up completely off the grid. After her father died under murky circumstances, her mother Tina raised her in isolation, drilling her in survival skills and keeping the outside world at arm's length. Now Kim ventures out for the first time on a mission to learn the truth about her father's death. A chance encounter with two small-time chancers spirals fast: guns, gangsters and a police pursuit that no survival manual covers.

Williams plays Kim with a deadpan intensity that's genuinely funny precisely because the character takes everything at face value. Sean Pertwee is sharp as the fearsome mother.
