Synopsis
Lost in the Night (Perdidos en la noche, 2023) is a Mexican crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Emiliano, a young man from a mining town, is hunting for his mother — an activist who fought a foreign mining company over local jobs before she vanished without a trace. His only clue leads to the gates of the wealthy Aldama family.
To get inside their secrets, he takes a servant's job in the house and steps into a world where money, art and boredom are tangled up with violence. A contemporary artist, his young wife, a wilful stepdaughter — each is hiding something, and the longer Emiliano stays, the harder it gets to tell predator from prey. Director Amat Escalante shoots it slow and merciless. Juan Daniel García Treviño and Ester Expósito lead the cast.
