Synopsis

Dark Shadows (1966), Season 2 brings the ABC gothic soap online to watch on iFILM — 64 episodes where the show finally tips from family secrets into the openly supernatural. Matthew's death in the old house closes one chapter and opens a stranger one.

Laura returns to Collinsport: Roger's long-absent wife, mother to young David. She wants the boy back, and for a while it reads as an ordinary custody fight. Then David starts hearing his mother call him in his sleep, the smell of smoke keeps drifting through Collinwood, and anyone who digs into who Laura really is runs into séances, trances, and a power that argument can't touch. Victoria, Burke, and Elizabeth plant themselves between the child and whatever Laura has carried home.

This is the series' first big supernatural arc — the stretch where Dan Curtis's show commits to horror over domestic drama. Slower in pace, but it sets the tone for everything ahead. Stream Dark Shadows Season 2 online on iFILM.
